Alexander Armstrong

Comedian , actor, presenter and singer Alexander Armstrong is probably best known as one half of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller, and the host of the quiz show Pointless. He is also a presenter on Classic FM. As a classically trained baritone he is now also known for his musical forays and has collaborated with the choral group The Sixteen for a charity single. He became a choirboy 40 years ago and went on to be a choral scholar at Cambridge where he was a member of the famous Footlights. After several years when he has made a name in comedy and acting he will be returning to his roots and performing an eclectic mix of popular classics such as A Stranger in Paradise and Londonderry Air.
