The Grass is Greener

The Grass is Greener

"Hilarious and uplifting, a total joy!"
Evening News

Written by Hugh and Margaret Williams, one of Britainís favourite play writing teams of the 60s, The Grass is Greener was a huge West End hit and went on to be an award winning film. It was one of the funniest, classic feel-good comedies of the era and stars Liza Goddard, best known for her TV roles in Bergerac, The Brother and Take Three Girls but with many stage successes (The Importance of Being Earnest and The Constant Wife) to her credit as well. Her co-star, Christopher Cazenove is best known as Charlie Tyrell in The Duchess of Duke Street and as Ben Carrington in Dynasty but his stage and film careers have been equally successful.

The play involves an impoverished English aristocrat, and American millionaire, an old flame and a butler -with hilarious consequences.
